In early 2022, Minnesota welcomed more than 3,000+ New Americans, and these newly arrived people sought employment. But a lack of transportation limited their prospects. Many New Americans continue to face unemployment due to transportation issues.

About Epimonia Transport

Epimonia Transport is dedicated to empowering refugees and immigrants by breaking down transportation barriers. We provide a range of services, including:

  • Employment Transportation: Reliable rides to job opportunities and workplaces.

  • Non-Emergency Medical Transportation: Safe and dependable transportation for healthcare appointments.

  • Behind-the-Wheel Training: Six hours of free practical driving training to help individuals obtain their driver’s licenses and gain independence.

Our diverse team, representing Latin, Afghan, Somali, and other communities, understands the unique needs of the individuals we serve. At Epimonia Transport, we’re committed to helping people achieve independence and self-sufficiency through accessible transportation services.

OUR SOLUTION

Epimonia has procured vans and recruited drivers to establish our ridesharing initiative. Partnering with various employers , we've developed a cost-sharing model to sustain this program effectively.

Epimonia Medical Transportation Services coordinates non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for fee-for-service Medical Assistance recipients in the Metro Twin City area.
